Default How do yo push crankbaits?

So I am fairly familiar with spider rigging by using jigs tipped with minnows but how do you push crankbaits using the same technique? Right now I have 3 twelve foot rods sitting in a driftmaster rod holder. On each rod is a barrel swivel with say 4 foot of leader. About 1 foot down from the barrel swivel is a jig tied on with a loop knot and about 12 inches below that is a 1/2 ounce barrel sinker then 12 inches after that is another jig tied on with a loop knot, they are spaced out a little more than that but its an example.

If I were to try pushing cranks would I just replace the jigs with small crank baits? Do you still use a loop knot? Do you have any leaders instead of the loop knots?

Also how fast do you troll when pushing cranks? Just enough to make them wiggle? I would also assume you need bigger sinkers to keep the cranks from coming back towards the boat?

three oz. weight about 3 ft. above the crankbait.......the weight controls the depth
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

3 ounces? Holy crap! So I could put a 3 ounce weight above where I have my barrel swivel that starts my leader?

Would you use the same amount of weight to get the desired depth when pushing from a kayak?

Are you thinking of running multiple lures per line?
