    Default violated #1 rule

Thanks to the moderator for cancelling this post in the wrong forum.....Been retired 20 yrs this past April. I only had one rule:" If it aint fun ,I don't want to do it"..... Went fishing today.Hot, about 90 degrees, heat index over 100, water temp. was around 86. Caught about 23 dinks , and I mean dinks. I had not fished in several weeks and had a hard time finding them. Too hot, I was drained physically, still had fun playing with my boat and electronics. Waiting for fall and winter. I love cold water fishing. You never know what you are going to catch, but staying all day is not a problem,........My wife asked me last night, what i was doing tomorrow. I told her the same thing I did today. She said YOU DIDN"T DO ANYTHING.......I TOLD HER I KNOW, BUT I DIDN"T FINISH!!!!!! Staying cool and waiting for fall.......crappie1133

X2...I start in October and fish thru about April or May...When I start sweating while sitting in the boat, it's time to pick up my toys and go home!!

When it gets hot, it's time to start thinking outside the normal crappie channels and breaking out the Bandits. I find on most days on KY Lake this time of year, I have the crappie to myself, catching them where others aren't even looking.

If I ain't fishin...I am a wishin..........you just have to take her with you to keep you company. Be careful in that heat. A heat stroke can come up really fast. I just fish early morning 4:00 am to about 10:00 am then I get off the water. It gets really hot here in Alabama.

If there are still fish left then you definitely aren't finished yet, keep after them.
