    Default Truman Report - 8/17 and 8/18


    We fished the Osage Saturday night and Sunday morning and caught some nice fish. We fished a lot of new water, now that the lake is so high. The fishing was slow, black/pink Muddy Water jigs with a yellow head, tipped with a minnow. Caught a 1.8, and two 1.11 all in 7 FOW on pole hardwoods. We actually caught about half of our fish in some buck brush and willows in about 3-4 FOW. The water is muddy and the channel is covered with floaters, so if you head up that way, be careful!

    Also, anyone know a good Taxidermist around the Truman/Clinton/Warrensburg area?
