You all see that the handrail folds back for side entry. I don't like the gate type latch that was installed. Of course, the builder can't read my mind either. I should have told them what I wanted, but, I really didn't know what I wanted at the time. I will install a barrel bolt type latch later.
No door at entry point sure saves space.
