    Default Kinkaid Report


    Since I didn't get any info on Kinkaid the other day, I'll report on my trip. The lake is full, water is pretty clear. Only about 10 trailers at Paul Ice. Couldn't have asked for better weather ... it was beautiful. Crappie weren't biting too great ... brought back 9 ... 2 biggest were 11 inches. Also caught 2 smaller bass and 5 b/gills. Fished trees, drop-offs, ledges, and weed beds. Caught most off weed beds down in the coves around the spillway area on a black/chartreuse BPS "Bumble Bee." All in all, it sure beats staying home and cutting the grass!
