    Default alfalfa bale

Does anyone use a bale of alfalfa hay as a fish attractor?
I have a bale and I want to know how long after it is in the water before fish are attracted and how long does a bale last?

A bale could last quite a while but once the string rots off it won't hold out. Fish could be on it in as little as a couple hours if placed right but that is no guarantee

I've seen people fill old pantyhose with alfalfa and tie them off their dock.

A burlap bag of corn also works as a good fish attractor.
