whats the best reel for no backlashes!

retired and now i will always fish
none - practice
.
there are a few on the market that make it harder to backlash. But basicly they all will.
The Crappie are always biting better yesterday - I'm always a day late.
I had the least amount of backlashes with the Diawa Procasters with the magnetic drag adjuster. But lots of practice and proper adjustment helps. Avoid using real light baits on baitcasters , even more so on windy days.:D

The one that gets lots of practice! I have several baitcasters from various manufacturers and a wide variety of prices, but the Quantum Accurist PT is my pick for the money. If the price isn't too big of a concern, the Shimano Chronarch B is my overall favorite.Originally Posted by DantheMNman

practice, practice practice, and then you will still backlash, but not as often.

On baitcasters - IMO, Quantum and Shimano, only reels at $100 and up. Start with 17# mono line and ALL the brakes ON. Gradually work up to only 2 brakes ... once you get that far, you can go to 12-14# mono then braided line after that. Practice, practice, practice ... oh yeah, and watch your language! ROTFLMAO.
what are you casting for? largemouth green trout?
