    you stated that in this texas heat the crappie are shallow.......is this for the black and white crappie??? thanks!

    I have caught both White and Black in extremly shallow water !!

    Heck at Sam rayburn it was all black crappie ! 5 to 7 ft wiped m out

    It was as far north as you can go with out running out of water !!

    you caught them shallow, were you in shallow water or deep water.....over tops?? timber???

    They were shallow on laydowns and brush tops
