    Default More progress on the new boat.....pic


    Still waiting on vinyl flooring. Ordered xtra thick stuff so deck screws want show thru vinyl.

    That hi bar at back has a special purpose. If it don't work out, well I have a hacksaw.

    I tripled backed the motor mounting area.

    Are you building the entire boat from scratch? Looking good so far. I would love to have an open deck boat to do things like put put brush and summer fishing when tied up. Thinking about a used pontoon as long as it's not a big one.

    Yep. Start with a basic hull and add what you want. What you see is all I will receive + vinyl flooring.
    It will be a steer by wire. No tiller or wheel. I have designed and built my own electronic controls. I will figure out where and how when the boat shows up. I am putting my life in my own hands. I know all of the electronics work as I have had it on my Jon boat tooling around the lake.
