    Default Wally Marshall's New Reel

Have you guys seen this new reel Wally Marshall just came out with? It is designed for jig fishing and I have got to ask him about it tonight on the forum. I know Grizzly Jig has them for $15.95 so I may just have to run over there today and pick up a couple

Going to get me a couple. Was looking at some new ice fishing reels back in the winter that are made real similar and looked like they would be good for jiging pole. They sold out real quick and were a lot higher than these. Glad awaited.

I hope it's a better reel than some of his others. I've planted several of the small bait casters in the lake over the years.

Yeah, had those too. But I don't do anything by one pole vertical jig in relatively shallow water here in S Louisiana. All they really need to do for me is hold my line. The $5 red reels are hard to find anymore and the $5 black ones wear out quick...merely sitting still. ANYTHING would be an improvement.
