    Default Purchased a new Pot

Decided to get a new pot and went with the 20 pound Lee Pot. Had my doubts at first if I had made the right decision. My custom molds were kinda ackward to pour. The 20 pound pot has two supports that were in the way. I drilled another hole and moved one of the supports and added additional brace and now the pot works perfect and I don't have to load up lead so often. The flow adjustment works great......I just poured 1000 Tri-Heads and only had couple that messed up.......I'll take that anyday.

I just got home from carport sales. I got a 20 lb. Lee for $10, it's half full of lead. Got to plug it in to see if it works soon.

I keep looking at getting one of these. I just have to either get lucky at a garage sale or manage to come into a little bit of extra funds. Congrats to the both of you. Bobo

    It's a great pot!!!

Canebreaker - fire it up and see if it works. For $10 bucks if it doesn't you can do the 1/2 price replacement program from Lee and get a new one. That's what i did, sent my really old ones in and for the cost of 1 new pot got 2 new pots - One of them I haven't even opened yet!!!

Fatman, I'll be checking into that if it doesn't work.
I've been out cutting the lawn. My backyard is my mother's cottage front yard. It gets the grass bag treatment with a push mower. Now ready to get on the lawn tractor to cut some more. The lower area will get the bush hog.
My neighbor stopped by to tell me that he knows someone that wants out of the sinker casting hobby. I'll be checking them out about dinner time.
