    Hello all,

    Fished smithville yesterday, caught 3 cats on my minnows and about a dozen crappie (1 10", 4 9"rs, and the rest were smaller).

    Fished from 7:30-3:00 - caught them throughout the period.

    It was interesting, transducer on the humminbird not working so no depth gauge, fishing out of a 23 ft cuddy cabin boat with no ability to troll - pick a spot and drop anchor. Had to rely on instinct. ��

    Some may call that overkill on the cuddy cabin, but hey....we fish with what we got!

    Vic, I totally agree....would love to have a fishing boat but the cuddy cabin is much safer for the fam
