Wow that's some tough fishing. So who wins if no crappie are caught.
Good to know that Truman is not the only lake that the catching is lacking.
My crappie club fished out of Ruark Bluff on Stockton Saturday from 7:00pm till 2:00 am. 5 boats fished and not a single crappie was caught not even a dink. Only two fish were even caught both channels one less than a lb and the other was two pounds. This was the first time in the 8 year history of the club at least one crappie wasn't weighed in. The main thing tho is we were on the water and had a good time. Post front conditions are always hard to fish so i'm hoping our trip to Viola on the 17th will be more productive. I wish I could have given a better report but sometimes the fish just don't want to cooperate. Tight lines everyone.

I've been out of the Truman loop for ~a month... man it is tough. I will have to focus on them again. I only have less than two months left to my season then I hang up the poles until mid December.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
no one won so all that participated got 40 points towards our angler of the year award and we have a double pot for big crappie next trip.
Now thats the way to do it. Good luck to everyone next time out.
