Default Need tips on cleaning plastic jigs

I buy a lot of my fishing stuff from Garage sales and Pawn shops. As you can imagine the jigs are all dirty and some are even melting together. My question is , Is there an easy way to clean this tackle ? I have been just putting them in a jar with some soap and shaking the tar out of it. Is there a better way? Thank you

I would spray "Pam" on them and wipe them. If you visit DIY Plastics forum DIY Soft Plastics you would see that old baits can be melted in the microwave and injected into molds to make new baits. http://www.crappie.com/crappie/diy-s...tic-baits.html or this one http://www.crappie.com/crappie/diy-s...g-plastic.html
