Big-Fish certificates

You may remember back a bit ago I bought up the idea of providing Crappie.com Big-Fish Certificates. I asked for a few volunteers to send me pics, and I now have the results of this test. Here's pics of what we did.



The idea which my wife came up with, is to provide a certificate, a t-shirt and a commemorative thread on a separate "special" forum here on crappie.com for each big-fish. I've not created that forum yet, but pictured above are the t-shirts and certs for review. No one could add threads to this new forum except me, but members would be allowed to post to an existing Big-Fish thread.

I can't offer this free, but I can prolly do it for under $15 each, or there around. It's custom, the pictures get edited, it takes time, so I think that's as fair as I can get it done. Does that seem reasonable?

Well, the effort is in making the custom certificate, text and image editing. The certificate design is simply a heat transfer onto the t-shirt (using a heat press). The certificate is kinda cool with the embossed seal on it and heavy paper. Wifey did good.

We wanted it to be very affordable so members might be more inclined to get them for their kids too. It's kinda neat cause the commemorative thread will be here forever. Especially for kids, it'll be something they can look back at.

Not ready just yet, but soon. Prolly this week unless there are major suggestions for change.

No-one said anything about Abbey signing them as the official mascot.
