Terry and I have reservations at Ft Desoto park in St Petersburg starting tomorrow til next Friday.. I leave Aug 11th for NYC for a month so this is our last fishing trip for a while. Gonna try for some reds, trout, snook (catch and release only) and whatever else shows up. Planning to do some wade fishing, boat fishing, pier fishing, surf fishing or whatever seems to be working... lol.

Will post pics if we catch anything.

ALMOST...I had to crank the boat up to help push the truck

Actually, the truck I had was straining a little bit to pull the boat I have now, so I went out and traded for a truck that has more pulling power. I haven't tried pulling the boat yet, but I don't think the new truck will having any problems pulling The Office Max Express down the road!!

I've been practicing my longlining technique on my little local lake, but the afternoon weather and forecasts have been horrible. Been catching more gills than anything doing this, not much else worthy of pictures. Hoping things will pick up when the weather cools and I can find some honeyholes. I did get a cool shot of a half-sunken sailboat this morning.
