Frank C, we can find some room for you and your fishin' gear righ here in Texas. No state taxes and lots of good crappie lakes. Nothing wrong with
the other states, but just being hospitable. Been retired 10 years and enjoying it more than words can express. Congrats to you.

Congrats to you.
I got 37 years in with the same company and still have 2 or 3 to go. At this point I'm not sure if its a career or a prison sentence.

I need to make it 11-1-2028. (Unless I win the Powerball or Mega Millions first. Then retirement is IMMEDIATE!)

Congrats! Been retired 2 years from Frito-Lay and thank God everyday I was able to stay even when I was tempted to leave. Good company with sometimes bad management. My stress now is whether to fish deep or shallow:fish

I had a friend of mine when I was driving trucks. He would always say, When I retire I am going to buy me a boat and just spend all my time fishing. He was an Owner operator so he never had time to do much fishing while he was home, always working on his truck. Well one day I met him at a truck stop and he told me I'm selling my truck and giving it up, To old to fight it any more. We said our good by's and about 2 years later I saw him at our usual truck stop. I asked him what he was doing there and he said, Tim I sold everything, Bought me a nice Boat with all the bells and whistles, New fishing gear and went fishing every day for about a year. But I started to realize I knew Nothing about fishing. And I started getting aches and pains and always going to the Dr. I missed my truck and the good times So here I am Back doing what I do best :-) To some people the thought of fishing is better than actually doing it :-)
