Default New lower unit, ready to run again...

Well after our last family fishing outing to Bucksaw memorial day weekend, where I clipped a treetop or something coming up out of a cove, I ended up replacing the whole lower unit. Ouch. Almost wish there were alcohol involved so I could blame it on something besides driver error. Priced per lb, the fish that weekend were pretty expensive!

Oh well, those lessons that are painful are the ones retained longest.

Headed back out this weekend, but we'll probably hit MTL or LOZ instead of Truman... I think I'm still a little tree-shy.
Teach your kids to hunt and fish and you won't have to hunt for your kids !!

Lower unit insurance is a handy thing to have if running Truman regularly. Glad you got it fixed and back on the water again.
