    Default We survived the blast

The Blue Rino propane refill/canister reclamation facility on County Road 448 just outside of Tavares, Fl. had a major fire on Monday evening about 10:30 PM. I live about two miles, as the crow flies, from the facility. I did not hear a thing, and found out about the fire when I woke up on Tuesday morning.
I guess that the mound at the county landfill shielded us from the blast, as I had went to bed at 10:00 PM. I guess that I am a sound sleeper.
Tried to pass by the facility at 2:00 PM Tuesday and the road is closed in front of the facility.
People have reported that they heard and felt the blast as far away as Lady Lake, which is north of Leesburg, Fl.

I was wondering if you or CrappieGirl1 had heard any of the booms. Thanks for updating us. Ginny

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

3 miles down the road--thought a war had started--over 50,000 propane tanks blowing--flames over 300 ft in the air--expected to see fish floating in the canal this morning from the shock waves--no such luck
