    Default trolling motor advice

I just bought a 20' pontoon and am trying to decide what size trolling motor to put on it. Does anybody have any experience or opinions on what to get. I do some spider rigging. I'm thinking about a minn kota power drive or motor guide wireless models. Any opinions are welcome good or bad.

Big and strong! I for sure would go with Minn Kota and for me it's the Terrova and I have an 80# Version, but with a 20' pontoon I may even go to the 101# because them pontoons catch a lot of wind. I did have an 80# on a pontoon that was 18', but still was hard to troll with it big time.

Terrova 101 with I-Pilot since you have plenty of space for 3 batteries.

I have a Terrova 80 with I-Pilot on my 1860 Horizon and it is without a doubt the best piece of fishing equipment I have ever purchased. Yes, the initial cost hurts a little but you will soon get over it.

the bigger you can go the better it will be, the terrova is a good one, but you could probably get by with just the AP and variable speed. Unless you're going to save some of the routes to run over and over again.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Broken Record ... I have the Terrova 101lb on a 211 Reata and it is awesome! The spot lock feature alone is worth the money.
