Gettin closer to deer season

And I was looking and reminiscing at some of the deer I have mounted and going through my photo albums , thought I'd share a few photos of some that I have mounted , the biggest is an11 point that I took with a bow on public land on 1997 that grossed 150 and netted 140 1/8 and the first deer i ever killed when i was 14 on white river refuge in 1981 with s muzzle loader ready for the next season to begin!

Those are some good deer faces you got on the wall. I guess if it swims or walks past you in the water or in the woods, you are gonna put a whacking on it. Hope you kill another great biggun this year.

I am getting ready also. I gotta go for my shooting test for the urban hunt this fall in Cherokee. And while I am up there, might as well put out a couple cameras on my land in Ozark Acres and get the huge (for a hill deer) buck I missed last year opening day scouted out again.

Nice mounts, Greg. Gonna miss being on a stand this year on opening day. First time in about 40 years! Booked me a camping site on the penninsula at Dardanelle for about 10 days beginning a couple of days before opening day to help with the withdrawal symptoms! I'll let you know how that works out.
