Default LOZ pitched a near shut out...

Got down there later Friday evening... crappie and bass gear in hand. Managed to hook a decent bluegill on my crappie rig. We turned around and put that blue gill on a jug-line. Fortunately that got us a 6lb channel cat the following morning. Outside of those 2 we got nothing in 2 days of fishing.

Got back home yesterday afternoon and the family went to go pick up the dog from grandma and grandpa's house. The wife (aka "Corporate") gave me the clearance to go fishing while they were out. Went to a little lake here in Lenexa. Fished for 2 hours and landed 5 keeper bass.

Sometimes the good fishing is just down the street

    have a good week, all!!!!

ABSOLUTELY! As long as I have a fishing pole in my hand, a beer (or 6) in the cooler... I'm golden

That's the way it goes sometimes. That's what makes it tough for me to drive past Truman to fish else where. It sure is fun to explore new water even if the fishing is rough. I think it makes us better anglers.
