Default Beatn' the storm at Geary

Got out with the family today! Waited til the morning storms were over and fished til the afternoon ones rolled in. Had fun, although hot (96 deg). We had fun catching small crappie and some channel catfish. Got the boat out of the water at 2:30 and got drenched as I was tying it down. Really enjoying this crappie adventure. I'll be interested to see how deer, ducks, and crappie work themselves out this year. Turkey season really suffered this spring!

Dang sir, just figured out who you are! I'm over in 4th BDE now. Hope command is going well and isn't taking up ALL of your fishing time. Anytime you get free and want to hit the lake for a little while, let me know..I've been practicing this spider riggin thing and am not too bad. I'll hit you on global monday, sir.
