    Talking need your help please

I am trying to compile a list of tackle shops that cater to crappie fishing. they dont have to specialize in crappie but we all know that some wont hardly talk to you if your not bass fishing. I dont need the address or phone number but the name of your favorite shop in the area you fish would be greatly appreciated:D

Dan's Sports Shop in Camden, Ohio caters to crappie and catfishermen and bow hunters. Even has an in door range.

If we go up to GLSM, we either hit Bulldog's in Celina or the bait shop at Windy Point. Both have lots of crappie stuff. - Roberta

    Thumbs up Sportsman's

I deal with Brad Culp at Sportsman's just west of Ky. Dam on Hwy 62, between Calvert City & Grand Rivers, Ky. (north end of Ky & Barkley Lakes). He always goes out of his way to help. Great price on minnows. If he ain't got it he'll get it for ya.

Good way to find out where to market your product for sure. Wish I could make enough to do that, but I don't think I could handle more than 3 retailers to wholesale to. Just can't tie that many jigs and will not get to where I can't keep up with the fisherman first hand. I like tying for individuals the most and no way will I let myself get over exposed and not be able to deal with people.

I have not ever tried any of what I would call micro spoons except the tiny ones like they have a BPS or Cabela's. I would like to give them a try sometime.

Maybe sometime you would share as how you make them?

Anyway good idea on how to get info on retail shops for crappie!

    Good Luck,

thanks for the info guys keep um coming. sorry skiptomylu cant give out any secerets but we could trade some if you like. I wouldnt mind trying out some premium jigs. as far as demand I could make around 1000 a week by myself and could also put the wife to work if need be. I have a conection with wally world that said he could get them in but thats not the way I want to go. I hate the place, even though you really cant beat their prices. Many manufactures have pulled out of there because they are so demanding on it has to be at there price and under their conditions.I am just trying to make a little money to support my crappie habbit:D :D
