    Default Took a break....

From crappie fishing and took my youngest daughter out catfishing, she had a blast. I planned on throwing a light on the water and catching some crappie but after she reeled in a couple of blue cat she was hooked, going to try night fishing for crappie Friday night.
We fished up by Hay Creek and it seemed like it took for ever to get back to Bucksaw at two in the morning. I need to buy a fishfinder with GPS!!!!!!!!!

Sweet pictures. Drifting or anchored/tied and casting? Bait? I need to harvest some kitty meat soon.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.

Great pics of the smiles on your daughter and her fish. It is just amazing how every landmark seems to alike when it gets really dark......Even my old Etrek handheld eases my nerves a bit. I do love my Lowrance with GPS. Good luck on the night fishing.

The lake is loaded with schools of shad, it's amazing how many big splashes you hear in the middle of the night. by the sounds of them I'm not sure if I would want them in my boat or not!!!!!!!!
