    Default where to place structure

Where would be a good place on a lake to sink a brush pile, Christmas trees, or cedar trees, etc? My friends and I would like to try and make our own hot hole to fish and would like some ideas on where to drop the trees.

    Thanks!

That can be the 64000 dollar question. How deep is the lake average , water color , and time of year fished ?
Here our average depth is 3' to 12' except for creek channels. The water is usually colored pretty good. We place most of our cover close to channel drops anywhere from 3' to 10 ' water depth. We have a few shallow 3' to 6' in the back of coves for spring and fall .
Remember that if it's too thick you will stay hung. My preference is Persimmon Trees or other hardwoods with few small limbs.
    Good luck .

this works better than christomas trees .something that fish crappie can hide in and ambush from . hooks don`t hange up in . christomas trees onley hold the bait fish and nothing for the fish to hide in .
