    Smile It floats!

Just got back from the lake, put the new (to me) boat in for the
first time. Rookie all over again :D Everything I touched, from the
tie-down straps to the trolling motor seemed to work backwards from what
my old one did :p had to move the truck three times to ever get the
trailer deep enough to load back up. But I ain't complaining, just laughing
at myself for how much I took for granted, being so familiar with my old one.
Aw, a few hundred times off and on, I'll probably be used to it too

If any of you ever wondered if a 90 horse with a tiller would be hard to
steer - well let me tell you, when you get it trimmed just right, you can
let go of the handle... but if you got it way wrong, it'll bout push you off the
    seat :D

I'll try to get some up soon. Too bad you weren't there to laugh
at me :D It wasn't by accident that I went when there wasn't another
person in sight at the boat ramp I knew there would probably be a few
    "oopses".

    Jeff,

You gave me a few grins with this post. Sure wish *I* had been there to ...

video.. yea that's it... video it.

Hey, at least you remembered the tie downs! I can tell you from first hand experience the frustration of trying to float a boat off the trailer with them thangs still on! :D

What boat are you running with a 90 tiller?I thought us norhterner's were the only ones that did that.Acually I ran a 20 footer with a 175 tiller 2 weeks ago at a dealer meeting.56mph at the touch of your hand:D

Hey prchjerker, it's a Alumacraft tp 185. And you're right, I had to go plum
to Wisconsin to get one like I wanted :D

Man, that 2010 Lund, that is sweet - if I had the dough for it - and the
gas that big Opti would burn - I'd be all over that!
I did drool all over a couple of 2095BT Yarcrafts with 150 Opti's on 'em
at the place I got mine. (Summerset in Delavan)

I've got a feeling, if I can swing it, that power tiller system is gonna be
something I want. I haven't had it in any chop yet, so
I don't know how it's gonna ride, but I wouldn't want to go far with the
motor trimmed down the way it is now!

Jeff that is the boat we would have bought if we could have found one to look at.
And I will know after looking at yours. If it is. Guessing if it is. There will be 2 war-eagles for sale.
    Pete
