Personal Best/Trophy Fish Certiicate

What do you all think if Crappie.com can provide a Big Fish Certificate kinda thing. I see that some State Sites do something like this already, but maybe we can create something like this for crappie.com. Believe it or not, my wife thought about this idea and actually made a little certificate up for me.

I recently went to Florida and caught a Redear Sunfish bigger than I've ever seen. I know this is a Crappie Site, and we would certainly do certificated or Crappie as well, but here's an example of a Big Fish Crappie.com Certificate for a Bream.


Abbey, my little Boston Terrier that goes with me on many of my Crappie Camp trips, the sites unofficial mascot, personally certifies all the entries.

So the member would receive a Certificate and maybe a T-Shirt. The t-shirt could have a design specific to catching a trophy fish. I'd have to work on that.

And there are a couple ways to qualify. Either we set a standard or each sate, or we just leave it open. By leaving it open, a child could catch their first fish and qualify. It would be a nice way for that child to be recognized.

The cost would be little to maybe just the cost of the t-shirt. And I would make a separate message board that all the entries could be posted in. Only an administrator could add new threads in that forum, but anyone could comment after it was posted.

The more I think about this the better I like it. What do you all think?
