    Default How do you decide?

For all the crappie fishers out there how do you decide what arm to fish on Truman or any lake for that matter. What are the factors you take into mind.

season, weather, water level, and water draw. and past observations. if I caught them in the hot on the grand arm, in july then it's back to the grand arm in july, if it is up Jacksons branch in the cold and no bite then somewhere else, try to remember what the fish did on any given spot, they will probably do it again same time same place next year. one must pay attention to the fish.

wind direction, time of year/seasonal patterns are first for me. also water level and if the water is rising or falling. then once I decide, I do the opposite of what I decided on and that usually gets me in the ballpark!

When listening to the professionals talk at Grizzly Jig seminars and they are looking for quality keepers they all said they would head to are area of the lake that had the stained water in it. Both for Truman and LOZ.
