    Default Fishbites?

Anyone ever used this stuff on your crappie jigs? Thinking about trying to find some to add to my jigs, believe it is more a saltwater thing but may work.

They are only for saltwater - although a freshwater catfish bait is in trials. They do work incredibly well.

    Default Fishbites

Tackle Monkey got me on this one too. Bought a package this spring to tip my Crappie jigs with. Crappie & White Perch like them but when you hook a fish they usually come off. For the price of them Crappie Nibbles or a piece of nightcrawler are much better & cost a lot less.

Well, has anyone used cut-up Gulp on their jigs in place of the nibbles? I just get tired of putting nibbles on after each bite or even touch.

Come on SteveJ, I know you've been reading the posts. Get a bait pump man. I can normally catch 10-15 fish without grabbing the pump, heck normally the bait from the pump outlasts the tubes that I use. Great product for the price.

    Default Gulp

I have tried the gulp also with poor results. The Bait Pump is a winner. A jar of nibbles will last you a long time.

A bait pump don't work too good with a hair jig altho I'm picking up a money order for one the next time I'm in town.

Put a dab of Cod Liver Oil on your hair jigs when the bite is light and you'll notice a difference. Put some in an empty eye drop or nose spray bottle for easy dispensing. It will stay on your jig for several hours so it saves a lot of time and trouble.
