Pomme Crappie triple threat

Had a chance to take my boy and my brother's 2 boys fishing this morning. Started off slow at the first spot we tried but things picked up after that. When we did finally get in them it was a circus for a little while. One would have a fish on, another hung up, and I would be tying on a hook for the other that was just hung. I got plenty of knot tying practice. We didn't keep anything today but caught between 30-40 but not all would have kept. Fished brush in 10-16 foot range. Boys used minnows and what few cast I made I used bluegrass baby shad. Had a great time and hope when I'm old these boys will take me fishing.
