    Default Weekend Bass (Speck) Fishing

Since the wind forecast would make it quite difficult to spread the poles out for the beautiful fish, my buddy and I set out for the bass. The wind was up and the bites were down...sure don't miss bass fishing that much. Then, the most exciting thing that could ever happen while bass fishing actually happened...my buddy pulled in a monster crappie on a large white spinner bait! He got it up to the boat and it flipped off. It appeared to be a very large crappie...I would guess close to 2 pounds! I'd go bass fishing more often if I thought I could catch big crappie.

The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

You should go bass fishing more often. What's this about a knee transplant?

Messed my ACL and meniscus up again...having another surgery in 3 weeks. Good news is that I won't miss any football and only a little fishing this Fall.
