I have the same fish finder and use zeiss lens cleaning wipes after every use, don't have any problems with them. You can buy them at walmart.
Just installed a garmin 550 on the front deck. I want to keep the screen clean so I got some protective film at the dollar store for a iPad and cut it to fit. Problem is it cuts down the visibility but after one outing it prevented water drops and fish slime from getting on the screen. Question is, how hard are the screens to clean and keep scratch free? The manual says the coating is sensitive to skin oils and to use a special ammonia free cleaner. Do you guys just let it get dirty and hose it off later? Thanks.

Got this tip a couple years ago on this site. To get rid of acid drops from water, I carry a small spray bottle of water with about a tablespoon of vinegar. Clears it right up. Also have a bottle of water withe a little dish soap in it for basic cleaning. No streaks!
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!
Windex with vinegar for my Lowrances, works great.
Water and vinegar has always worked for me.

Please watch out using the Zeiss wipes, yes they are great cleaning wipes for glasses(real glass ones) & cameras etc but their wipes contain Alcohol which will dry out your screen causing tiny cracks on screen surface. This warning was put ot by HB and they all use same materials for screens. Look in store for the electronic cleaning pads that contain no alcohol(these are for the new phones,i pads etc.). Or as suggested above by JTMavs -- a small spray bottle of water with about a tablespoon of vinegar.
HB suggests if using a cleaner such as Windex Only used the Windex with vinegar Not one with alcohol or ammonia.
I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.....

jaxsprat Thanks for the imfor. about the Zeiss wipes
I just bought a bottle of Windex Multi-surface with vinegar and it is I think what Humminbird recommends. I know someone told me this anyway, LOL! Big cheap bottle will last a long time.
