fished from 7am to 11am, nice cloud cover morning, caught 60 and only kept 6 and handful of white bass. minnow bite was best but picked a few on jigs 15' down in 20' water. whites were real active and saw a lot of them schooling up and busting surface. got off lake just in time for sun, wave runners, and rest of Saturday crowd.

Hmm. With a report like this I might try to make it out there early one morning and try the trees again. Was there on the 3rd near sunset. Caught about 6 crappie with 1 keeper on jigs. Friend called to pick him up at the ramp then couldn't find them again for the next hour. Rain eventually came in and it was time to go home.
