    Default lowe deckboat

Any of you use a deckboat for your crappie rig? I like the looks of the mid 90's lowe deckboats, thinking of getting something for the whole family to use, plus for crappie fishing and catfishing. Do they do better in the wind and rough water than a pontoon?

Wind is not a problem but does not handle rough water very well.

A friend owns one, and I've fished out of it once in calm conditions. What I assumed, and what he has insinuated, is that it catches a lot of wind when trying to fish. If you're spider rigging, it's nothing a sock or chain or two wont handle. If you're trying to hold over a top, then it may be a little tougher to do (maybe easier than a 'toon though?) Idk much about a pontoon, but I'd say I would like the deck boat better to fish out of- lower center of gravity, lower profile (ones I've seen)
