    Default water in Q-beam light

Have any of you guys had water get in your Q-beam lights? If so how do you get it out. I've never took mine apart so I have no idea how it could have happened.

    Thanks!

Are you talking about the regular handheld spotlight type? If so, we have had it happen to us, check the switch to make sure it is sealed, and if it is, then you may need to take it apart and check to see that the rubber washer around the lense isn't rolled or cut causing it to leak, or maybe where the wire goes into it or the charger hooks up.
You can't fish with a hung line!

I had one do that too. Don't know how it got there but it kept working.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

about all mine at one time or another has had water in em. if you twist the globe gently it will come off and you can dry it out. when you dry it, seal the end of the globe with some silicone and put some silicone around the wire where it goes in the light. that solved my water problems. if you do it when its new it shouldnt ever get any water in it. youd think theyd do a better job of sealing them.

Thanks for the tips but I found out somehow the glass broke at the wire end of the light. Couldn't tell you how or when. For now I'll have to get a new one and educate the guys that fish in my boat to take better care of the lights.
