    Default Reelfoot bluegill 6/22


    We weren't having any luck catching crappie so got some crickets and tried for some gills today
    Fished Kirby's pocket in the Lilly pads from 10-3:30 caught 19

    I LOVE the way they hit the lure and fight like heck! Plus they are pretty tasty! Great job!!

    Do bluegill fillet same as crappie. We always scaled em and cooked em whole thinking there was to many bones.
