very nice pictures, thanks
I am a huge WWII history nut and have read over 75 books on that war including around a dozen books on submarines so I was very interested in touring the Torsk.
The Torsk had over 10,000 dives, which is a record, and sank the last Japanese vessel in WWII. It is in Baltimore's Inner Harbor if you would like to see it.
With it's post WWII conning tower.
One of the passageways.
Forward torpedo room.
The all important sonar room.
Bow and stern plane controls.
Deep in thought in the crews mess.
Crews berthing. Just a bit tight.
Two of the four engines.
Main control room.
I would really like to go to Chicago as they have a WWII era German submarine, now that would be neat to tour it and compare.
