Hate to hear this. Vt is beautiful. I worked in Burlington for 4 months on some underground communication bunkers. Met a lot of rednecks. Felt right at home there.
For the last week it was nothing but rain. From 18 May - 12 June of this year in Vermont we've had 12.84 inchs of rain and that's not including what we got yesterday or what we're supposed to get today.
Saturday is supposed to be really nice but then we're getting hit with a cold front that's supposed to give us on and off showers for another 5 days!!!!!!
The rivers are nothing but MUDDY flows - and some of the ponds I fish the trails in the back side are covered and even with waders it'll be tough getting back there as it will be pretty deep.
Can someone please come and get this stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Send it this way
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"
Just got rid of it, don't want it back just yet!!

IL is the same way.....river is high. More rain starting this weekend
We get plenty down here. We even get your run off. So for all of us , I hope it stops. We fish the Atchafalaya River Spillway , and it usually is red hot by now. But for it to be right, the Miss. river has to be falling and about 20' on the Baton Rouge gauge. Has not come close yet. On a rise at the moment to 33'. We may miss the whole season this year and the heat index was 108 degrees today. If it ever gets low enough , it will be so hot it may be unbearable. Anyway, good luck!

Southwest Oklahoma is in extreme drought lake is 27 ft low. There will be no irrigation for the cotton for the third year in a row. Stage 3 rationing in a lot of towns. I am sure one day your rain will stop, but you should pray it does not stop for an extended period like ours has. Good luck!
Be careful what you ask for when it comes to rain, we would love to have more especially the last few years and living down where I do that is the last thing I would have ever though would be in short supply.
