    This is on Cowan lake. I was moving pretty quick, probably 8-12 mph, chart speed set to ultra, HB 581 HD Di. Poor quality pic, I know. I am thinking real hard about moving to a color unit with snapshot capability.

    Tree?

    I think you should take screenshots (multiple) at slower speeds and see if you can make out what it is. Other than a height of around 10', it's anybody's guess

    Looks real similar to a ball of Crappie to me; they frequently appear as a Christmas Tree type image.

    I can get back to it, and since I forgot to mark it, I copied the waypoint from the image to an SD card via HBPC. If it is a ball of crappie, I hope they still hang out there!
