Let us wipe our feet with your face during peacetime and WHAT? Why aren`t we "friends"? Except this time we can piss them off and they can side with CHINA ! If we just REALLY get completely arrogant, we can have the US vs the ENTIRE rest of the world ! THAT will make you HAPPY and feel "safe" won`t it ? Guess that depends on whom you ask. Several world wide polls still have the US seen in a positive light and it`s STILL the #1 place just about EVERYONE wants to live, given the choice. About the only people who REALLY think it just absolutely stinks to high heaven and isn`t "fit" to live in at ALL (but whom AREN`T going anywhere ELSE) all seem to be the Republican right wingers ! So, how long till you're boarding the plane for...where IS that again? BTW, the `admiration` of Putin is somewhat understandable from a Republican point of view; he has recently re-enacted the dissention laws where critisizing or even uncovering government cronyism, waste, fraud and abuse is now punishable by upto 10 yrs in prison, and is in the process of repealing various individual liberties and rights. In some circles he is being called "the next Stalin". We NEED another "Stalin" type, right? Someone willing to mass murder another 40 million of his fellow countrymen even before the Nazis attack in 1941. Some one to re-establish Russia as "the greatest nation upon the Earth" (Putin`s own words); doesn`t ANYONE "miss" the good old Soviet Union? THAT is what he really WANTS...oh, yeah, Stalin was NEVER "elected", apparently Mr Putin did not receive a "legal" majority either, but "laws" can be SO "inconvieniant"...THIS is whom you have such "great" admiration" for ?
