    Default Northeast Ohio

Just wondering if anyone on the Bd fishes around East Liverpool Area.
Are there any crappie in the creeks off the OHio River. I'm from Norhteast Ohio and was just curious. Thanks

I fish the River in the Pike Island pool up to Stauton. The River produces the biggest crappie around in the late fall through the early spring. a 17"er isn't that uncommon.
I mainly fish Berlin, Mosquito, West Branch, Milton and a few other smaller lakes. Crappie have been slow but are starting to pick up on the flats.

I know the Lakes your referring to . I was in OHio last month and the River looks good. Especially some of them feeder creeks and back water. I don't know where stauton is but I know where stratton is.
Keep a tight line and send of them 17 inchers south.
