Congratulations on the project boat. Don't know where you are located but I have a friend that is in the business of boat restoration that if you have questions that can't find answer for he might be able to help you. He is near Louisville, TN

Hey, cspen.......Been getting my parts there for several years. I couldn't believe how good the prices were compared to the marina's, and especially how helpful the mechs and members were. It's a great place to troubleshoot your outboard or any other problems related to your boat. Good luck with your project.......post us a pic when you're finished.

Here is another good site for just about anything pertaining to a boat. http://forums.screamandfly.com
They are in the process of upgrading the site right now but once done its really good. Once a member (free) this site gives a pretty good discount on parts. http://www.rickracers.com/ Most these guys are into racing boats, so they know them pretty well from the keel up.
