    Default Ice or No Ice?

Most of the time I will clean my fish when i get home. But sometimes I am in a time crunch, so I will throw them on ice and clean em the next day. My Dad and Brother told me to stop doing this. They say it is unsafe. Other people have told me its fine as long as the gills are still pink/red. Whats your thoughts? The fish are frozen whole.

I almost always ice mine. Makes it easier to fillet them. Fish bought in markets are iced for several days before they are sold and consumed.

Won't hurt a thing. I always leave my fish in the fridge over night in an ice cream bucket with salt water. Sometimes I forget and leave them for 2 or 3 days. Just rinse them off real good and freeze them. Never had a problem.
