Rain rain rain!

Hey all, headed down to Truman right now to catfish tonight. Bought a boat last Friday so I'm planning on putting it in at daylight and trying to find some crappie....or anything else that'll pull on my line. What's everyone thinking about all this rain? How would YOU fish in the morning. Probably gonna put in at sterret creek or the dam if I can make it work. Let me know what you guys think. I'm hungry and need a limit!!!

I would think about the Wier or below the dam. If your going to hit the creek I would consider spider rigging. Fishing after heavy rains tends to scatter them out from my experience and spider rigging will help you find a pattern quick if possible. Running water usually makes right at the dam somewhere really good for fish in general though. Hope this helps good luck and let us know.

I would try the willows along the bank, grass areas, small cuts in the bigger coves, they will surely be up close and feasting on all the new food sorce. luck to ya
