Mounting a Structure Scan Transducer to my Trolling Motor

I am wanting to purchase what I need to be able to downscan straight down from my trolling motor. I have a Fortrex with US2 linked to a HDS5 Gen 2. I have Structure Scan on my transome and it is linked to the front but I want to see whats donw from my trolling motor.

You have a HDS 5 on the bow? Is your LSS a 1 or a 2? At minimum you will need a transducer for the SS on the trolling motor, a LSS-1 will fit with a US2 but I don't know if a LSS-2 transducer will. I can measure mine to be sure. There is a bracket to install the SS transducer on the trolling motor, I think Lowrance has it. I have one on my tm but can't remember for sure who made it, CRS. IMO a HDS 5 is almost to small to be useful with SS, I'd want a 7 at minimum, been there. For the money the Elite 7 DSI is looks good, I've never had my hands on one but have seen some very good images from them.
