    Default Crappie Masters

Is it just me or is crappie masters the worst fishing show ever. And just a big waste of time. I try to watch it but get absolutely nothing from it.
The only thing better than a day of fishing. Is a week of fishing.

You aren't alone. I don't even try to watch it.

I understand what you all are saying. Talked to Paul at Grenada and the biggest hurdle is money. Can't put camera crews in boats, and they have to do spots about the town they are in according to their agreement. Not as easy as it would seem. Hard yo get much in a half hour and too expensive to do an hour.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day!

Yebber... pretty much stopped watching fishing shows cept Al Lindner's show. Everything else is either bass, bass, bass (yawn) or 300lb mako shark type shows. Really wish there were more crappie shows on. But in the end it's all about the ability to make money and what draws sponsers I suppose.

I agree it's most likely a matter of money. Too bad because there is a lot of interest in crappie fishing.

Why don't crappie Masters folks post a you tube video of the tourney on their website? Should not cost that much. Could even have segmented by each team they film for say 15 minutes each. Would be much better. The show now is more about advertising and money, not about fishing.

If you watch one show you've seen the whole season, just change the dates.

YouTube and the library DVD section usually work when I need a fix.

I agree. Probably one of the worse fishing shows I have ever seen. You would think, with the huge number of people who fish for crappie, that someone could put together a first class show. I have completely quit watching it.

Watched it a good number of times and have [U]never[U] learned a single thing.
