Well I'm not from your neck of the woods but I have been out for the last 2 days here on northern Ky. Lake. I have managed to find a lot of fish but most have been small. Thursday I kept 14 & yesterday I had 4 keepers before my trip was cut short by a trolling motor problem. The water temp is still in the high 70's and the lake is hovering about 2' over winter pool. Most of my fish have been coming in the mouth of the bays in about 11 to 12 foot of water. I have been casting roadrunners to brush and vertical jigging. Both methods have produced but like I said most were dinks.

    Good luck!:D

FINALLY made it out on the water today. First time at Taylorsville, this year. Lake is still too warm, and coming down from a couple of feet over Summer Pool ... water is a little dirty looking in some places, almost looks like "turnover". A couple more weeks of cool temps, and things should get interesting over there. I only caught three 10" Crappie, two on jigs and one on Roadrunner. Caught a few dink Bass, one White Bass, and one Warmouth (also dinks) on Roadrunner ... trolling the mudline in 12ft water (traffic was as heavy as on a normal Summer's day). None of my "favorite" blowdowns produced the first hit :o ... found a new one, and caught two Crappie off it (while fighting the wind and waves :D ) Caught the third while trolling a Roadrunner on the outside tips of some other blowdowns, right at the mudline.
The usual colors produced ... blue/char tube - junebug/char Charlie Brewer slider grub - solid Chartreuse Roadrunner. Didn't bother me, though (not catching that much) ... it was just nice to get out on the water again !! ........ cp

Just thought I'd add the only picture I took on this outing:

did not have a chance to leave work early friday so i could not drive to taylorsville, so i got on the web and they said crappie were biting at beaver lake, so i thought i have not fished it in awhile, water 72 degrees a little murkee, i started seeing them suspended in middle of lake 8 to 12 feet i soon found out they wanted minnows only no jigs with them, i also noticed i caught the better fish on a red hooks vs the normal color ones, i spider riged using those crappie rig setups. i stated at six and finished at about 9pm with 17 fish all over 12 inches and 4 at 16 close to 17 inches, my best since i started crappie fishing about 5 months ago, who would have thought beaver lake but i think i will go back tonight. good luck

Well I waited till this morning and spent most of the day out at Yatesville here in the east. I was doing a little bank fishing and was only able to pull in one fish to keep and it was a 15 inch cat. Caught alot of dink bass but no crappie. That cat sure tasted good when I got home though:D
