2 + 2 in 2 = fun catch

[Cane Pole]

Caught 2 whites weighing over 2 pounds each in 2 minutes on the same brush pile yesterday (Monday). I was using 1/16 oz Tn orange jig (from Skeetbum) with white/chartreuse tube. Vertical jigging one pole. Life gets complicated with more than 1 pole. Brenda and I got some good fishes. We have several neighbors (elders) who are not doing well, so we gonna feed them some fish oil.

We had a large time over Memorial Day weekend. Put out a lot of flags too.

2 pounders were common place here in the 90's. The lake is in it's twilight of large fish productivity. Average fish in now 11 inches. This is what TWRA fish scientist extraordinarreee Mr. Broadbent told me and others a hamburger joint in Humboldt.
