Default sunday and monday at truman

went to Truman early Sunday morning and meet a buddy up there, we went shallow and only ended up with 5 crappie , 1 flathead, 1 walleye in the live well. I told him the must have gone deep, so Sunday night went back out about 5:30 and messed around till the big boats were gone, went to point #2 at thibaut, fish 30 fow 15-20 ft. down, had 15 keepers and 1 white bass in 2 hrs. went back to the same point Monday morning at 6 and in 3 hrs. had 16 keepers and 1 white bass, every fish I cleaned was still full or eggs, and was marking a lot of fish, guess these fish wont spawn. the trip started slow but at least I went home with a couple of limits, and only spent 100 in gas, but the feeling my belly has after eating them is well worth it.

Sounds like a good trip to me. I'm happy as long as I get enough to eat.

I have a house in warsaw and spent over $200 in gas. Hauling hardhunter around kills the gas mileage in the truck and boat!
